Cats will continue to hunt as their hunting instinct is so strong that more then often they seem to enjoy the adventure of chasing behind something or the other which may or may not be food.
Cats have developed an intricate method of communicating. Cats usually communicate using sound, posture, ears and the movement of the tail. Whenever a cat purrs it indicates feelings of pleasure and being content, while whenever it takes out the meow sound it means that the cat is seeking attention while hissing and spitting by the cat usually indicates anger and aggressiveness as the cat enters into its defensive mode.
Usually any nervous, frightened or aggressive cat will show certain behaviors which include the following; twitching of the ears back or flattening the ears back against its head. Whenever a cat holds its tail high it means that the cat is displaying a sign of welcome, while a gentle waving of the end of the tail indicates pleasure or excitement however whenever the cat will twitch its whole tail it is a sign that the cat is annoyed.
Cats also have an image of laziness associated with them. Most pet keepers are of the view that more then often cats just lie around and expect to be pampered. Cats are also known for their excellent navigational skills and their ability to find their house of residency are well known.
