Its similar to the Persian cat in the sense that it has a short and heavy body. They are a result of the breeding between the Persian and the Siamese breeds. They happen to be mild mannered and loyal since they are fun and playful.

The Bombay is very smart and energetic. They are usually calm, friendly, and affectionate but prefer to be Top Cat around the house. This breed of cat will talk to you, some more so than others. They like to be involved in human interests just because they enjoy human company. This cat is a very playful breed.
